I must have dozed off with the soft bouncing of the carriage, it was mid afternoon when I finally woke. The sun was shining bright above me, I would say that it was at its highest. I didn’t even remember falling asleep, but I must have been out for at least two hours or so.
I sat up and turned towards Angus’s back as we continue to trot along the main road towards home.
“Angus? How long would you say that we’ve been riding for?” Angus turned over his shoulder as much as he could.
“About 4 hours or so now me lady. We should be home before night fall, do you require anything mistress?”
