Unseen Love

Once there was a girl, named, Erum. She lives in Karachi,Pakistan.She belongs to a middle class Pakistani family.She always had no say in the family matters, She was kind of stubborn when it comes to her needs and desires. She was also full of hope and energy. She was a dreamer.. She thought of lots of professions in her childhood. Sometimes, she wants to become a Model, sometimes an Actress, sometimes a Boutique owner, sometimes a Fashion Designer. Up until her 10th class she was confused in her own thoughts but then one fine day she opted for Medical Science. Not solely her choice but yeah she made it through . She was upset with this stream and she really didn't want to continue this.here comes the family pressure.  They were two siblings. Her sister, Ayza,was elder to her .Ayza was loved by everyone.She was given freedom in choice of career, in what she wears, which time she went and came back to the house. On the other hand Erum was served  different types of taunts of how a girl should not behave,she was scolded even for the things she hadn't done because she was younger. Ayza always took advantage of her being elder.She always put Erum in a difficult position.Whatever she wanted to do., she did that in the name of Erum. At the end, Erum got scolded and Ayza got rewarded. This strange behaviour of her family confuses her a lot, she started thinking Why is it like this with her? Why does her parents react differently to Ayza? Why can't she get loved like other normal children? Thinking about these things she got really upset and decided to do things which she wanted to. So,She went to the college of her choice. In her college, there was a guy,Abeer, who was in Ayza's batch. Ayza used to talk a lot about him.She told her Ammi about how charismatic he is., how every girl dreams of having him in her life.Every detail of Abeer was discussed and there only Erum heard about him. She started getting attracted towards him, she had a deep urge of meeting this guy.She kept thinking about him, she thought of getting married to him and every other possible impossible dream,she developed a strong crush. This was the only reason she wanted to go to the same college as Ayza. So it has been a few weeks since she was going to college. Everyday, the urge of having a look at him makes her crazy because she doesn't even know what he looks like. She waited for him in the sports complex to arrive but he didn't, as Ayza told her that Abeer was very fond of playing sports. Any kind of place in college where Abeer was to be found she waited for him.She even made friends from his class but couldn't really talk to anyone openly. She remained silent about her love for Abeer. Her best friend, Dilnasheen, knows about him only. They both were on the hunt of finding Abeer.,this hunt continues and so does their studies.

One day it was raining heavily, Erum was waiting for her bus and due to heavy rains there was no bus, no taxi, or auto rickshaw was available that time.Ayza also was on leave that day.Then suddenly a car stops by, car window opens and a very deep voice asked her where she wanted to go.She remained silent, then a familiar voice calls her,"hey! Erum,we are also going to college".She recognizes the voice of one of her seniors,Shabnam,to whom she interacted quite a lot. She told her to come into the car. It was raining so without even thinking twice she got into the car. The deep voice asked her name, Shabnam replied Erum. then the whole drive was a silent drive. Erum wanted to ask the name of the guy but then she dropped the idea and kept thinking about Abeer. They came to the college, it was so dark due to clouds and there was water everywhere. When Erum stepped out of the car, the guy was already there to help her, Erum refused the helping hand and started walking .She hardly took few steps and her foot slipped, before she could fall a strong hand hold her.And the next second she was in the embrace of a huge guy with big eyes,fully bearded face,unforgettable cologne and a cunning smile.Erum was lost in the eyes and the fragrance when suddenly someone bursted out,"a girl should never say no to Abby!" Erum rushed towards her class after pushing that guy away.During classes she gathered her thoughts, she tried harder not to think about those eyes, that perfume, deep voice and of course those strong hands.She jerked her thoughts and started thinking about Abeer but couldn't help. She ended up thinking about that guy only,seeing her lost in her thoughts Dilnasheen asked her what was thinking about.She nodded her head and said nothing. During break time, Shabnam comes to her and asks her to have food with her, she accepts and takes Dilnasheen along with her.There she saw that guy from the morning again smiling at her, she gave him poker face and sat right next to shabnam.

ERUM'S POV:-

(looking at him) His eyes are so big his mischievousness is always peeking through his eyes i guess, his voice is so authoritative yet impressive.Ufffff..! Why can't I stop myself from looking at him? I only love Abeer, no one else.And also why is he looking at me again and again. Ughh! I'm so nervous. When will this lunch break end? I don't want to look at him anymore,I want to get out of here ASAP.

Dilnasheen: Erum! let's clean ourselves up a bit?  

(ohh thanks Dee for saving me.) yeah! lets go..!                                                                                                                

We went to the washroom, I sighed because looking at him feels like I'm committing any sorts of sin. As Dee went to the washroom I was waiting for her to come and then suddenly a hand pulled me in the dark room next to restrooms. That touch, the perfume, it was the same like the morning, it's him again near me.NO! NO! NO! I have to leave but his hands are so strong he holds me really tightly. Should I shout? Will it help? No trying releasing yourself. In order to get rid of him we came closer and we were so close that I could feel his breaths on my cheeks.I lost there for a few seconds, his embrace, his touch, his perfume I got carried away with his perfume's smell. He has some magic., it feels like i want to be here with him for like forever.He leaned towards me now his breaths was close to my ear, i was so lost in the moment that i couldn't hear him talking then again he whispered in my ear,"i think someone should say thankyou!" Afterwards, I came to my senses & took control over the situation by hitting him hard in his ribs.I ran very fastly my heart skipped some beats i guess! In the lecture only I was thinking about him, What if he had kissed me? Or even worse could have done something improper? What would I have done?

AFTER COLLEGE

Rain stopped,we were waiting for our buses,Shabnam called us and asked to sit in the car. I refused but stupid Dee! She sat in the car before I could put up any excuse.I ended up sitting right behind his seat.He was constantly looking at me through the rear view mirror, though i was not looking at him but i could feel the burn,the sensations on my body,I knew he was looking at me!

When my house arrived, I moved out of the car smiling towards Shabnam. I said Thankyou to both of them.Which I think was not enough for him. He wanted more than what his eyes were saying. Anyways! I waved towards them and they left. Rest of the time went thinking about Abeer and HIM........
