Sealed in Secretsd Episode

(Astrid Nightshade’s POV) The next day "You look like you're planning to war, not a wedding," Kieran muttered beside me. I turned my head slightly, my fingers tightening around the silk fabric of my dress. "Aren't I?" His lips curved into something that wasn't quite a smirk, but close enough. "You’re dramatic." "And you’re annoyingly calm." "One of us has to be," he replied. But I wouldn’t. Because I wasn’t fighting this marriage. Not after Kieran’s offer. Our secret contract. No one else knew. Not my father. Not his. To them, this was a legitimate, sacred union between two Alphas’ children, a powerful alliance between our packs. But between me and Kieran? It was nothing more than an arrangement. A business deal. And when the time was right, we would go our separate ways, just as we agreed. I picked up my goblet, pressing the cool metal against my lips, but I didn’t drink. I could feel Kieran’s eyes on me, watching me, measuring my every move. He spoke again. “You’ve been quiet.” I met his gaze. “Should I be celebrating?” One of his brows lifted slightly, the ghost of amusement flickering across his otherwise impassive face. “You agreed to this, didn’t you?” “Agreed is a strong word,” I muttered. His lips barely twitched. “You signed the contract.” I took a slow breath. “And so did you.” His silence was an answer in itself. At the other end of the table, our fathers were speaking Lauren and Jordan Blackwood two powerful Alphas, discussing the future of their packs as if we weren’t even in the room. “They’ll expect a ceremony,” I murmured. “They’ll get one,” Kieran replied smoothly. “But after that…” His voice lowered, ensuring no one else could hear. “You and I go back to our lives. We give them what they want on the surface, but nothing changes for either of us.” I studied him for a moment. His features were sharp, his posture impossibly relaxed despite the weight of the situation. It was clear he had done this before. Negotiated. Manipulated. Controlled every aspect of his life with calculated precision. I shouldn’t have been surprised. Kieran Blackwood wasn’t the type to let fate decide his future. Neither was I. A slow smirk at the corner of my lips. “Cold and ruthless. No wonder you don’t have a mate.” His smirk mirrored mine. “Neither do you.” My stomach twisted. I had a mate once. Or so I thought. The memory of his rejection still lingered, a wound that had long since healed but left a scar. I had buried it deep, where it couldn’t touch me anymore. Kieran must have seen the flicker of something in my eyes because his expression darkened. But before he could say anything, my father’s voice cut through the tension. “Astrid.” I turned my head, facing him. “Yes, Father?” He gave me a long, hard look. “Tomorrow, the ceremony will be held here. I expect you to be ready.” The finality in his tone was suffocating. I forced a small smile. “Of course.” Kieran said nothing, just raised his goblet in a silent toast before finally taking a sip. The deal was sealed. Tomorrow, I would become Astrid Blackwood. For now. That Night in Kieran’s Study I was in the beautified guest room when someone knocked "Ma'am, master Kieran will like to have you in his study" The head house keeper said to me. Knock knock knock!!! "Come in and take a seat", He said , he already know who is knocking I entered and took a seat opposite him Kieran sat and continue "I will like that we sign a contract that our, a separate one by ourselves " "But I had already signed it once before", "You sign our fathers deal, that is not our deal" He was nothing if not thorough. I leaned back in the leather chair, arms crossed. “You’re acting like I’ll back out.” Kieran sat across from me, flipping a page of the document. “You should.” I blinked. “What?” He didn’t look up. “If you were smart, you’d run.” A scoff left my lips. “From what? You?” His gaze finally lifted. “From everything that comes with being tied to me.” For a moment, neither of us spoke. Then, I reached for the pen and scribbled my name at the bottom of the page. “Too late.” Kieran exhaled through his nose. It wasn’t quite a laugh, but it wasn’t anger either. He signed as well. The contract was now official. The contract sat between us. Neat. Official. Irrevocable. And so was our marriage. For better or worse. Morning of the Ceremony "It's morning of my fake wedding, I'm I suppose to be happy or sad, mother please can you save me from here" I call her like that even if I know she's gone I stood up and went to the window, Suddenly I heard someone knocked " Miss Astrid it's time to get ready" "Are you the same person who came yesterday" I asked "Yes ma'am, I'm Matana, the head house keeper, and I'm in charge of you as you are the highest rank woman in Blackwood" Oh Yes we all know Aliyam blackwood, Kieran's mother she left Jordan blackwood for mako sage, and that was why Jordan fought in Mako even without my father accepting his request then, "So no woman in this entire Park" I ask "There are woman, but no one is higher than you" she said and continue " Now let's get ready " As she was helping me prepare, she begin to talk, "The Blackwood estate is alive with activity today, it's been a while since servants rushed through the halls like this, arranging decorations, preparing for a grand event it's been a while that all this happened ma'am" "I'm dressed like this for the first time in my entire Life" and I continue the rest of my speech in my mind "and my first time is with the wrong person but maybe serving a great purpose" I stood before the mirror in the room with Matana, The white dress draped over my frame, elegant but simple. While scanning the dress, A soft knock sounded on my door "Knock knock knock" I ordered the person in expecting a maid. I turned and see "What are you doing here?" Kieran stood there, dressed in black. "You can leave Matana" I said His usual cold demeanor was intact, but there was something else in his expression. Something unreadable.
