Julie’s Point of view
Jenna wasn’t at school again and Pete only came in after fourth period. I text her and asked if she was ok, she replied and said she was. I sat at lunch with James and Pete and decided to grill him about it. He told me she was just feeling a little unwell.
‘So, you with her tonight?’ I asked, since we were still on the conversation, but I was more than surprised when he shook his head.
‘Nah, Me, Eddie and James are all going to the cinema to check out that new horror movie’. I couldn’t help but smile, I liked that they were including James in their fun now. I looked at him, he was trying not to smile.
‘You didn’t tell me you were out with the guys tonight’. I playfully nudged him.
‘Didn’t know I needed too’. He joked and snacked his arm
