CHAPTER 4: TANGLED DESIRES

1743 Words
~SELENE~ It felt like he was a force, and I could feel him stronger with every second that passed, something I couldn’t escape. The surrounding air was charged, and every breath felt thick with desire. I wasn’t sure exactly when they had blurred, but they had the lines between power and submission, between dominance and surrender. Darius’s hand slipped to my waist, his fingers searing through the silky fabric of my dress, pushing into my skin with ownership. “You’re not going anywhere, Selene,” he murmured, his voice heavy with the kind of need that reverberated deep inside me. “Not until you realize that.” Lucian strode over, fingertips skating over my shoulder, down my arm. Instead, his touch was different, deliberate but gentle, as though he was savoring every moment. The whisper tickled my ear; his lips barely brushed my lobe when he said, “You’re not leaving either, not now that we’ve found you.” The words sent a shiver down my spine, and even though every part of me screamed to resist, I couldn’t fight the heat that flooded my core. My mind was clouded, and my body was backstabbing me at every turn, had no impulse but to give in to them. Lucian’s hand cradled my chin, angling my head back as he leaned down to kiss me again, this time more slowly, with an intensity that seemed almost reverent. His lips slid over mine with practiced ease, teasing me into the kiss. My body knew what to do immediately, my arms slipping under and around his neck, bringing him closer to me, deeper into the kiss. That taste of him, rich and intoxicating, soared through me, filling me with waves of warmth. Darius’s lips landed on my neck, breath burning onto my skin as he placed licks down my collarbone. His hands glided along my back to the small of my hips and dragged me closer until I could sense the heat of him through his clothing. Every part of me woke up, aware of him and of them both. “Don’t act like you don’t f*****g want this,” Darius grunted, his voice deep and low, the kind of sound that made my pulse race. His fingers grazed the curve of my dress and slid beneath the fabric, moving toward the bare skin of my thigh. I inhaled, and my body shook with the weight of their attention, their freedom, their hand. “I don’t…” I’d gotten no further at all before Lucian deepened the kiss, his tongue seizing my mouth with a desperation that matched the frantic pace of my heart. His hands traveled to my back, pulling my dress down just enough to reveal the soft skin of my shoulders. The cool air stung my exposed flesh, contrasting with the warmth of their hands as they ran themselves all over me, caressing me like they could not get enough. Like they had every right to lay claim to me. I could feel myself falling, want and desperation pulling me deeper, deeper into this world I didn’t understand but wanted with every fiber of my being. Lucian’s mouth traveled down the length of my throat, with heated kisses and loving in their wake, while Darius’s hands slid lower, pulling me closer into him. Against my will, my body responded with a desperate need that burned through me like fire. “Tell us what you want, Selene,” Lucian murmured between kisses, his voice rasping with need. “Tell us what you need.” I forced out a few words, through quickened, ragged breaths, but suddenly all pretense crumbled. “I…” It came out small, a breakup of cracks, and I swallowed thickly, the gravity of both men pulling me tighter. “I need you both.” It was all the invitation they wanted. Darius’s lips were on mine again, more demanding this time, taking charge in a way that made my knees weak. Lucian's hands were on my back, unbuttoning me slowly and with deliberation. Every touch, every kiss was deliberate… engineered to dismantle me, to tear down every wall I’d tried to erect between myself and potential pain. As Lucian broke away at last, his eyes shone with that predatory l**t, but there was something else in there, too… something deeper. “You’re ours now, Selene. We’re not letting you go.” The words echoed in my head, their truth dawning on me with a sudden sharpness. I was theirs. Not simply in the act of touching me, but in the act of devouring me… body, heart and soul. His gaze locked on mine again as he felt my body underneath his possessively, and each caress of his hands made my heartbeat faster. “We’ve only just begun,” he whispered, his voice heavy with l**t. And when his lips found mine again, everything else disappeared. The world, the stakes, the history… everything receded. In this moment, we were all there was. Darius’s hands slid with a fluid, predatory grace, his fingertips rubbing the soft curve of my waist before tugging me even closer, molding me against him. His heart was pounding against my chest, in time with the crazy racing of mine. His kiss deepened, his lips moving with an urgency that made everything around us turn to fog, everything except the heat that was rising between us. Lucian’s fingers danced across the bare skin of my back, feeling like flames in their wake as he peeled the last of the fabric of my dress from me, letting it cascade to the floor. My body shook, n***d and vulnerable, but I sensed that I finally knew what it meant to be free, finally alive, finally rid of the barrier I ever built. Darius’s hands framed my face, his thumb gliding over my bottom lip as his eyes penetrated my gaze with such force it felt like he was devouring me. “You’re so perfect,” he breathed, low and hoarse. “Every inch of you.” Those words sent a shiver down my spine, and my body reacted to him instinctively. I put my hands on his chest, and I pushed against the fabric of his shirt, his hard muscle beneath. I fumbled to unbutton it, eager to feel more of him, but Darius stilled me with a soft laugh. “Impatient?” he teased, his mouth curving into a wicked smile. He had unbuttoned them himself, the motion of drawing apart the fabric juggling without a pinch. Lucian’s hands slid to my waist, his grip almost possessive as he pulled me closer to him. “Don’t think you’re going anywhere,” he whispered against my ear, with his hot and heavy breath. “This is just the beginning” His lips slid down the side of my neck, teeth brushing my skin in a teasing nip that made me catch my breath. The sensation shot a tongue of pleasure up my spine and increased the throb between my legs. Darius’s lips made their way down my jawline, his hands slinking lovingly along the curves of my body at a slow, deliberate pace. Each caress burned a mark in my skin, one for each of them, claiming me. My body hooked up acutely into his, instinct kicking in, my need for more entering. “Say what you want, Selene,” Darius whispered, brushing his lips across my ear in a way that made me tremble. “What do you need from us?” I couldn’t make the letters come out in a line, the l**t as thick as fog in my head, but it was the truth. I needed them both. Every inch of them. I had to have them claim me, to make me feel alive in ways I’d never experienced. “I need you,” I whispered, my voice thick with need. “I need both of you.” That was what they needed to hear. One second, they were there: Darius’s hands pinning my hips, Lucian’s mouth smashing against mine hard enough to make my head spin. Their touches were sharp, frantic, as if they were insatiable. They seized control, they took me with them, backward and forward, pushing me to the edge where their bodies collided with mine, hot and demanding. Lucian’s lips moved down to my chest, covering one breast with his mouth in a slow but insistent caress. I gasped, fingers fisting in his hair as he teased, then suckled with a hunger that shuttled ripples of pleasure through me. Darius’s hands drifted down my body, his fingers brushing over my inner thighs, desperate for him, for both of them. “Please,” I pleaded, my voice cracking as the need for them breaks over me “I want...” Darius growled low in his throat, his eyes dark with lust. “We know what you’re looking for,” he said, with an unbearably thick, commanding voice. “We are going to give it to you.” And with that, everything around us completely faded away. There was only the heat of their bodies, the feel of their hands on me, the taste of their lips on my skin. The pressure that had been building between us burst, an avalanche of pleasure so overwhelming I felt as if I was drowning in it. I had no idea how long we lost ourselves in that moment… time was no longer a thing. Nothing else mattered in that moment except for the beating of our bodies, the heat that found its home deep within each other as we twisted ourselves so tightly together, finally quenching the l**t that had been raging out of control for far too long now. And as my last waves of pleasure broke, I came collapsing against them, panting and exhausted. They gripped me tightly and didn’t let go, their bodies a comforting weight forcing my attention down and reminding me, in a way I didn’t realize I needed to be reminded of, that time had passed. Lucian’s voice cut the silence, soft and almost tender. “You’re ours now, Selene. And we’ll never let you go.” I shut my eyes, body still vibrating from the force of everything that had just gone down. I didn’t know where this would take me, but wrapped in them, in that moment, I didn’t care. I was where I was supposed to be.
