Burning everything

1037 Words

Damien’s POV Two days. It had been two full days since my baby girl disappeared, and I was losing my mind. I sat in my home office at 3 PM, staring at the laptop screen with cold eyes. My fingers moved fast across the keyboard as I gave the final orders. “Freeze every single account,” I told my lawyer on the phone. “Credit cards, bank accounts, investment funds — everything. Cut off the Maserati too. That car I gifted him on his birthday? Suspend the insurance, block the keys remotely, make it useless. I want Kael to have nothing. Not one dollar. Not one place to hide.” “Yes, sir. It’s done,” the lawyer replied quickly. “He’ll feel it within the hour.” I ended the call and leaned back in my chair. Good. Let him suffer. Let him run out of money, out of friends, out of places to sleep.
