Elara The next morning, I went to school feeling stronger than before. Michael dropped me off as usual. As soon as I stepped onto campus, people started staring at me with fishy looks. Some whispered, some pointed, but I didn’t mind them. I kept my head high and walked straight to my classes. Then I saw it. On the big notice wall near the main building, there were lots of pictures printed and stuck everywhere. Pictures of me and Damien coming out of the hotel that first night. My face was clear in every photo. Above the pictures, someone had written in big red letters: SLUT. A crowd had gathered. Some people were filming me with their phones. My heart beat fast, but I refused to cry. Kael was standing there with his friends, laughing loudly like he had won something. “Look at her now!
