After I left Athenas house two days ago, I went to my house to Pick up my gym bag and headed To the gym.
I as soon as I got there I worked out and practiced my kickboxing for a few hours before going home and to bed for the night, only stopping to see that my neighbors bedroom light was on.
Apparently Athena stayed up late just like I did, i was feeling curious so i ran up to my room to see what she was up to since I could see her room and backyard from my second floor room. What I was surprised to see though was Tarius, that deer dude who was older and way more introverted than me. The only thing I really know about the guy is that his dad died
I didn't want to invade her privacy, even though I wasn't the biggest fan of Tarius. So, I closed my curtains and went to bed.
The next day was like any other weekend. I woke up, had breakfast with my older brother, Kaiden, my younger brother, Kai and my older sister, Karissa, I went to drove lamplight mountain to run and hike the hill with freedom to be in my wolf form since nobody knew about this mountain except for other shifters, and after my hike I went to the gym to practice my kickboxing again like every night.
Today though, everything started differently. I smelled Tarius nearby and a scowl immediately appeared on my face, why did my morning and week have to start like this.
I went outside and sat on my front porch. Tarius had headphones on while looking down at the ground and was walking toward Athena's front door. When she answered the door, he took his
headphones off a looked at her smiling.
I couldn't take it anymore so I walked over and said loudly
"Good morning!"
Athena looked at me a smiled as Tarius tilted his head up indicating his way of saying hello while Athena said
"Good morning."
I continued walking forward toward the woods and eased into a slight jog continuing toward my family's cabin in the woods.
Athena
Once I answered the door for Tarius, it seemed like Kamil magically popped up without me even noticing. He had been very odd this morning, not to mention he ran into the woods instead of the town.
Tarius seemed unfazed by his strange behavior, maybe it wasn't stage at all. Tarius smiled at me and tilted his head trying to catch my spaced out gaze while saying
"You okay? You seemed pretty lost in thought there."
"Perfectly fine! Do you want to come in?" I responded
"Actually I was hoping to take you somewhere" he said inquisitively
I was a bit shocked that a person I met really a day ago was already at my house asking to take me somewhere. So, I responded
"Well, I am technically supposed to be submitting some work for my college program, but, I gues it could wait a bit."
He smiled brightly and said
"Awesome! You ready?"
"Born ready" I responded jokingly
We walked a bit until we reached the train tracks. He smiled shyly and said
"Here we are. I always liked to walk these tracks, they help me clear my head and I figured I would show you"
I smiled so big my cheeks started to hurt. If you looked down the tracks it seemed never ending, and oh so beautiful
"This is the most beautiful things I have ever seen" I whispered wistfully
I looked down the tracks a while longer before turning back to face Tarius, only to find that he was staring so sweetly and intently at me.
"I'm glad" he said while holding his hand out for me to take "Ready?"
I nodded at a loss for words. This was have been the most beautiful non date ever. The trees leaned into one another creating a tunnel over the never ending tracks that was so beautiful.
We began walking down the tracks when it finally dawned on me.
"What if the train comes!" I say in a panicked voice
Tarius chuckles and then his chuckle turns into a full blown laugh. As much as I wanted to slap him for laughing at me I couldn't help but indulge in the what seemed to be rare sound of his laughter. He eventually stopped laughing and when he did I put on the best death stare that I could.
He stopped walking and turned to me and I followed his example by stopping as well and turning toward him. He reached out and grabbed my hands causing electric shockwaves to sail through my arms and the rest of my body.
"This railroad hasn't been up and running since the early nineteen hundreds." He said "Do you really think I would bring you someplace that you could be run over" he chuckled
"Well, I only met you two days ago. So how would i know your intentions just yet." I responded to his rhetorical question while narrowing my eyes and lifting my left eyebrow in joking manor. My words and expressions caused him to smile and shake his head.
He let go of one of my hands but kept the other while continuing to walk forward. We walked for a few minutes in silence just taking in the beautiful things around us, but, I eventually broke the silence, though it was very comfortable.
"So, what do you like to do for fun?" I asked in Hope's to get to know him better.
"Well, I like to walk and spend time with my family." He said turning his head to face me "What about you?"
"I like to read and write books, but, I also really like watching movies with my mom." I answered facing him like he his facing me.
"You're a writer?" He asked smiling
"Yeah. I like to write because it's an escape from reality, it gives the feeling that you have control over something or someone's fate when your having trouble dealing your own." When I said that last part I looked down to my right foot not facing him. I could feel the confusion and intrigue radiating off of him and the last thing I wanted to do was stir up any questions about my past.
"I've never thought about it that way. It really does make sense though. What kind of books do you write?" He says
I look up from staring down at the ground and looked at him smiling before saying
"I've answered enough questions about me. What about you? What's your job ? The other night you said you had one."
He slightly chuckled before saying
"Believe it our not, I am a twenty four year old guy who works at as the town's medical office receptionist."
I smiled even brighter while saying
"Are you aiming to be a practitioner?"
He blushed mildly and said
"Yeah, yeah I am. My dad was the town doctor and I will have my MD in a year, so, I figured while taking the online college course I would work in the office to get a feel for the job."
"That's so cool, I am actually two years away from having my PHD because of my online courses. I'm going to be a Psychologist." I said and he smiled in return, almost, proudly? In a way I guess.
We continued to get to know each other through our questions. Turns out his favorite color is green, his favorite type of music is Indie, and his favorite book is "Catcher in the Rye". I also told him how my favorite color is blue, my favorite type of music is indie and EDM, and my favorite book is "Anna Karenina".
Once we finished talking and explaining these things about ourselves, we ended up back at my house teo hours after be picked me up. Tarius was such an easy person to talk to and was like a best friend who you want to be even closer with. He really understood my way of thinking and even accepted it. He is also really smart and has a great personality along with being tall, dark, doe eyed, and handsome. We said our goodbyes and promised to see each other again soon before he hugged me and walking back toward the town.
That hug, it caused a wild rampage of butterflies to form in my stomach, and was the warmest thing ever. I cant wait to see him again!

After I saw Athena and Tarius this morning being friendly. My wolf Dolphos and I had been instantly filled with jealousy, I couldn't let her end up with him. I thought I could handle saying something as simple as good morning while another male was around her, but, I couldn't even do that.
I was so filled with bitter emotions I knew I had to make a quick escape to avoid murdering Tarius and revealing to Athena that I am a werewolf, a person who hasn't been brought up knowing about beings who shift like me will most likely not take the news lightly, so, after saying what I did her, I headed toward the dead end of the road that led to a huge area of woods. I could feel Athenas slight confusion on why I was heading to the woods so in aim not to confuse her more or cause her to become curious, I only started running when I knew I was out of sight and hidden by the massive trees. I ran as fast as I could while in my human form, but after I couldn't take any more, I let Dolphos take control causing me to shift and become a passenger in my body. I could feel Dolphos's anger and raging jealousy along with my own. The wind blowing against my fur and face that was being lifted back extra because of the speed were also physical feelings that I could observe.
Running helps me clear my head from the daily overthinking I do about things like the problems in my life, I also am able to plan on how to handle situations and problems. In this case, my problem is Tarius, and I know just how to handle him and any other person that gets in the way of my mate and I.
