[Emma's POV]
Next morning when I woke up with an alarm clock I was feeling tired and groggy with soreness all over my body. It made me feel like death warmed over. After waking up the first thing that came to my mind was water.
I was feeling thirsty like I never had water in a century. I quickly got up and went downstairs after taking a shower. Maddox told me that Jaxon had gone out for a walk, so I nodded and tried to smile at him. He already prepared my breakfast but I just need water at this moment. I had three glasses of water and I looked at him.
"Woohoo!! Are you that thirsty?" he said with a small laugh.
I looked at him, taking deep breaths, and nodded. "I don't know why it's happening," I said with a shrug. It was strange how he was acting so normal, as if nothing had happen
