Nikki held her hand over her brow, in an attempt to shield her face from the rains. “What did you see Nate?” She would ask before focusing on an area of the brush where there looked to be some cloth, or plastic, snagged on the branches, fluttering. Nathan pulled himself up the hill on the other side of the ditch, boots caked in mud and soaked up to his knees. “I got a feeling.” He hesitated to say he had seen Molly. It was not the first time he had come upon her, but every time he had in the past it had never been a positive event. The first time he had seen Molly was in second grade.
