I thought I would include a short section giving my thoughts on each of the stories in this anthology, a bit of background information and maybe one or two anecdotes.
These are something of an affectation and are not really necessary to the stories. I hope the stories stand up on their own and that you enjoy them, but if you want a bit of fleshing out of what was going through my mind at the time… well then, have at it and enjoy! But just remember, and let me put your mind at ease – I am never telling you everything.
Everyone loves a spooky story; well, I know that I do! CHIS is a story that I’ve been trying to write for a very long time – like thirty years! I put it off and put it off, not really having a platform to present it on or even knowing if it would work.
