But that’s not what I entirely saw as I met this woman’s unsparing gaze because I saw hell — burning hell that was primed to sear me, ready to punish me for the things that I don't have a clue about. If I was intimidated by this woman’s presence, my wolf, on the other hand, was growling in indignation, preparing for our defense if this woman, just in case, would attack me all of a sudden.
