Killian's point of view I stood frozen. It was like every blood in my body had drained. I felt so numb to the pain that choked my chest. My eyes scanned Sheila's face, pausing on her lips, then back to her eyes. My brows furrowed confusedly at her, observing her as if contemplating if Sheila was seriously just rejecting me.
