Massimo put his phone down, and his brother nudged him with the shoulder. “I know that smirk. Who is she?”
They were sitting in the kitchen of his parent’s farmhouse, the table filled with the food his mother and sister had prepared. They returned from church this morning and now, duty done, they could relax and enjoy the day. The three children were persuading their mother to sit down and rest, but it was a losing game.
