Chapter sixteen
Micah was in his office the next day, the day started well for him, he really can't explain the internal happiness he has been feeling the whole day, all his work was moving well for the day and he didn't even know when night hit, his phone light flashed, displaying an incoming call and seeing the caller ID, he smiled, he picked up the call while still working on the document in his hand
"Less busy?" He asked
"What are you still doing?" Alicia's voice was heard from the phone
"What do you mean what I'm I doing, I'm working" he said
"What? It's already 8 o'clock you know?" She said and he furrowed his brows, he looked at the phone screen and it was indeed p.m.
"How did it get so late?" He asked
"Are you asking me?" She asked and he chuckled
