“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I jumped at the sound of my mom's voice. I had spent so much time at the Craven's house that they had a room set aside specifically for me. After talking with Mrs. Craven, I had gone upstairs to it and went to the bathroom. The minute I did, my mom's face appeared in the mirror.
“Mom!" I exclaimed. “What are you doing here? How did you know that I was at the Craven's?"
“Because I sensed you!" Mom exclaimed. “And the Craven mansion isn't that far from us. What happened? Did Macon try something?"
I shook my head. “No, he…he's actually been great that way. He said that I wouldn't have to do anything until he wanted me to. And I didn't mean to come here! But he and Damien got into a fight and I disappeared and I just…I don't feel safe going back
