The dark clouds above crackled with lightning of many colors, casting dim flashes across the towering castle perched atop the mountain.
“They’ve finally destroyed the realm, huh?” The titanic figure chuckled, stroking his lightning-streaked beard. “Maximus would be furious…” He paused, his expression shifting. “Or would he?”
A deep, resonant rumble rose from far beneath the mountain, and the figure’s lips curved into a knowing smile. “It reacted to the boy’s essence… and has begun to stir,” he murmured, his tone edged with surprise. “That monster is starting to awaken.”
Deep beneath the mountain, within a cavern shrouded in darkness, two massive blazing red eyes slowly flickered open.
