The view from the top of the mountain took my breath away. There was still snow on the ground at the very top, making it so much colder. I didn’t care for the moment. When I got out of the car, I looked down the mountain. It was beautiful, sprawling with so many Evergreen trees. My breath decorated the air in front of me as I watched the ski lift ascend to the very top above our lodge. Jacob came up beside me, wrapping his arm around my waist. “Do you like it up here?” He asked. I nodded, looking up at him. “I don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t this.” He smiled softly down at me. “I’m glad you like it. Come on. I need some food and a nap.” I laughed. “After you, then.” A servant grabbed our bags from the back of the Jeep and took them into the lodge
