    The room was silent for a long moment. The first person to move was Rory. The prince stormed out, slamming the door behind him. My heart clenched. I couldn’t believe he was still hung up about this whole thing. It had been months ago when I had rejected him. I looked up at Jacob, but he was staring at his father.
