Numb, blank , pain, Myra didn't know what she was feeling right now. Waiting outside the O.T, she was just staring at closed door continuously behind which Damon's operation was going on right now. 

She was in a haze not even remembering how she reached here. All she could see was damon's bloody state infront of her . she was soaked in blood all over her clothes, his blood.

Suddenly she remembered to call his family, he had told her that his parents are retired and are on a tour. She didn't have their contact number as he wanted them to meet her in person for the first time they will know of her. He was waiting for them to return to tell them of their relationship. Also as he was an only child their was no one else to call.

After sometime she dialled a number. 

Eric picked it up in two rings," hello, it's been long Myra, how are u"....... his concerned voice resonated.

Myra broke into tears once again. Eric seem to got panicked by her cries. " what happened myra, why are you crying " still all he could hear was her cries.

Sensing something he continued," Myra please listen to me. stop crying. trust me I tried..........'' before he could continue she spoke" Damon met with an accident . I am all alone Eric sir. i am scared" again broking to sobs.

Eric froze hearing that. He could not believe his ears. Collecting himself he spoke, ''tell me which hospital. i will be their quickly". After gathering the information he hung up.

True to his words he was their in 20 minutes. All he saw was a small figure sitting outside the operation theatre. Her hands covered her face and she was crying bitterly. She was a mess. His heart reached out to the poor girl. He softly called her name. Myra raised her head and when he saw a familiar face, her emotions took over again and he broke in his arms all over again.

"It's all my mistake Eric sir. All mine. If i hadnot asked him to stop the car , he would have been fine. M so weak and pathetic that  my body cannot handle a small pregnancy. He is battling with life now because of me. HE asked me to stay at home and rest but i forced him for an outing . he tried to make me understand of the complication but still i didnot paid heed to it and look what happened. If i had just stayed at home like he asked things would be fine. i am so pathetic'' .........

Hearing her rant  Eric tried to calm her" listen Myra it was an accident. Trust me none of this is your fault. You should never blame yourself for this"........."but sir....."...................."No Myra, u had no hand in this . just keep this thing in your mind. u are innocent ,always have been , u donot deserve this."

for some reason she thought eric was not referring about the accident." I assure you. Damon would be fine. now that i am here i will take care of everything. Just donot stress yourself with these silly thoughts. It's not good for the baby".

Hearing him Myra suddenly felt relieved . Seeing his sincerity  she believed him that he will take care of everything.

she stopped crying all together.

Eric went to make few calls when the red light of the O.T turned off.

Her heart started to run a marathon when the doctor came out...................
