Leaving her standing there looking heartbroken was probably one of the hardest things I had ever done. But I could not treat her any other way no matter how much I wanted to.
I wished she hadn't come to see me, but I didn't think she had come without a reason. She didn't seem like that kind of person. It made me wonder if something might have happened or she was worried about something? Maybe she wanted to talk to me.
I can't be seen with her though. I had to keep avoiding her. Welwyn was doing a good job taking care of her. I was sure he would help her out with whatever the issue was. Even as it pained me to know she spent more time with Welwyn than with me.
