Jasper was still holding me by the waist, did he really think I was panting for him? Anyway, I didn't even know it myself, but he continued to make that conversation, insistent as always, with that look that he found irresistible. And, you know what? I was already so exhausted from everything — from Killian, from the doubts, from this feeling of always being on the edge between right and wrong — that, for a moment, I decided to just... not care. Maybe he was right, maybe I still needed a little fun, something to make me feel alive again.
So, without thinking twice, I pulled Jasper and kissed him with all my accumulated desire. It was intense, as if I was releasing everything that was trapped inside me, a mix of anger, frustration and pure adrenaline.
