A week had passed since that phone call, and to my surprise, Killian was already back at the company. I knew I would see him eventually, but I wasn’t prepared for the impact of seeing him in person again. He looked as he always did: impeccable, determined, and with that natural air of leadership that made everyone around him pay attention.
I saw him from afar in the main hall, talking to some associates, discussing something with calm seriousness.
