Chapter six: The first appearance Part 1

Walking up I felt numb, staring at the ceiling it was friday and my week has been the most rough week ever.. Let me do a recap 1st i resumed school which was good, I made a stupid mistake and now i ruined my life. So i hate this week, pushing myself off the bed I checked my wall clock it was still very early, it was 3;34 but I knew i wouldn't get any sleep, I sighed as i walked to the bathroom and did my business, walking into my closet.

Since it was friday my school permitted us to dress in a native attire, I decided to go for a knee length ankara gown, it was yellow and blue, it had a long sleeve and an off shoulder. I tied my hair into a ponytail, applied a bit of mascara and lip gloss, I looked a bit better.

It was now 4:45, I dedided to wake Shola up and get him ready for school, walking into his room, I stared at him as he was sleeping so peacefully, I felt guilty to disturb him I smile walking in, I wished i had his life, so peaceful, so happy, no problems I wish I was three..

Taping home gently his eyes slowly opened he was a really light sleeper, " Good nornin" (Good morning) He greeted my grin grew wider. My mum taught him to greet when he woke up, " Let's pray" I said lifting him off the bed.

We both did our morning prayers and I carried him into his bathroom, I groaned I forgot to return his bathrobe now am gonna wet my dress, he was a splasher.

We ended up fighting as I made him stop splashing at me and my clothes were at least not so wet. I dressed him in his friday outfit. It was a gray round neckband khaki shorts. Taking him down stairs, I placed him on his small seat turning on the tv and then played paw patrols as he sang along to the theme song.

I made breakfast for both of us a bowl of golden morn and apples. He took his plate as he stared into the TV, my mum figured appeared from the living room , " Thanks hun" She smiled I nodded scooping food in my mouth.

"Am living for work early so I am going to have to drop you off at school early, I nodded" Are you okay? You have been odd lately" She raised an eyebrow at me. " Am okay momma" I smiled trying to escape. Walking away from the dinning room I walked into the living room the time was now 5: 57, I watched some Nickelodeon cartoons till it was time to go

" Alright honey am leaving" my mum called ,picking up my bag and my phone, I plugged in my air pods and played Damn by Omah lay. I walked into my mums car and closed my eyes drifting off to sleep i felt at peace...

"We are here" My mum tapped me gently, " Thanks momma" I kissed her forehead she smiled. I walked out and returned my airpods into my bags. Walking to class I was too weak to even feel scared, I walked into class and Tes was already in school. He was sleeping with his head on his desk which was actually kinda weird, I walked towards him as I tapped on his arm. He looked up and broke into a huge grin u giggled, sitting beside him.

“You are here early ” I commented, "Yeah" he waved it off. "Guess what" he said and I looked at him "What?" I replied clueless " I said guess" he made an eye roll which i returned, " Okay, you totally forgot about me going to the gym with you" I said randomly " I actually dud thanks for the reminder" I groaned. " Okay so what?"

He grinned again" Mr Benson retired He said he finally found what he was looking for and no longer needs to supervise" My breath hitched. “ Are you not happy” he raised an eyebrow, " Yeah I am" I faked a smile. " Okay spill it something is up" he accused me " Nothing is up i am fine" I shrugged him off " Hey you two" Feyi's voice came to my rescue, "HI" When both said together she smirked. Well we ended up talking about different dishes and I felt Tes constantly staring at me.

They dey went by really fast soon its was closing, Tes sent a group text, he was throwing a party at our secret spot, we decorated an empty land, moving the lawn, and planting grasses, we also made a cabin for parties, against the sun.

He was throwing the party, " Hey Dekemi" I heard Feyi call me, Tes left early so we both walked home together, chatting all the way on our way.

Getting home my mum was not bank from work yet, Shola had a play date with anabel Tes little sister.

I had my spare key, walking up into my room, I decided to change for the party, it was starting by 5:00 So i had an hour to prepare, I texted my mum and Ade that i was gonna be home late, I walked into my closet to pick out my outfit.

I decided to go with a simple outfit of a black jean and a baby blue crop top, I picked my jacket and my purse. I applied edge control to my hair and applied my passion body spray.

Looking at my reflection in the mirror I was satisfied i walked out of my room grabbing an apple i shut door.

Tes house was really far from mine so I could walk all the way there.

Locking the door I started my 5 minutes walk. My whole squad was already there, Isaac, Joseph, Martha, Feyi , Ayomi and Testimony.. Nonso and Richard weren't invited at the thought of Nonso I felt my heart ache but i shrugged it off.

"Hey guys"

" Hey Dekemi" Martha threw me into a hug which i returned, "lets get this party started" Tes howled as we all giggled but it was cut short, There was a loud bang coming from the cabin, it was low growls and more banging I walked close and I spotted blood on the grass, "What the".

I snapped my head towards Tes, his eyes grew wider as suddenly I felt a scratch by my side, I screamed as I felt a sharp pain as I turned back to what hurt me, My leg were stuck as my inside turned into jelly.

It was Nonso but he had black eyes , paley skin with green pulsing veins. His sight was murderous, and his lips was now bloody and he growled to reveal his fangs.

He had a torn cloth and blood on his really long fingernails, I looked down to where he had hurt me and there was blood dropping through my outfit, he ripped through my clothes and my skin.

He raised his hands his eyes filled with fury and black consumed his pupils. He was going to claw at me the second time, How could I tell it was nonso.

The wooden necklace I got him was still on his neck, i was paralyzed I couldn't run as tears rolled down my cheeks.. He brought his hand down with a full force I gasped bracing myself for impact .
