*Third POV*
It was close to dinner time now, Alina was left alone in her room. Armaan and her will share a room after the Luna Ceremony, where along with being announced as Luna of the Dark Moon pack, she will also get married to the Alpha. Armaan didn’t tease Alina for the rest of the tour. He was genuinely interested in showing Alina around his home. He had been waiting to meet his mate for so long and, now that she’s here, he is excited to include her in his world. The second floor is designated for the nursery, (which Amir only spends time in during the day), bedroom quarters for the omegas, two spare office spaces, a recreation area for the omegas, and a small storage room. The third floor is designated entirely for Zafar, and it has two full bedrooms with full bathrooms in each one. One extra room, a kitchen, half a bathroom, and a sitting area. The fourth floor is entirely a library. And, the fifth floor, the last one in the castle is designated only for the Alpha, Luna, and their future children.
The fifth floor was divided into two wings. The east wing had a magnificent suite which had a terrace that faced the lilac fields, a full bathroom, a sitting area, and a fireplace that was directly opposite from the huge bed. This suite belonged to Armaan. Alina’s room was next to Armaan’s room. She also had a fireplace, a full bathroom, and a terrace. But, her terrace only had a partial view of the lilac field. Instead, it held a great view of the rose garden, which had a huge water fountain in the center. On the floor, there was also a full kitchen, three full bedrooms, that each had their own bathrooms, a living room, and a dining room. The west wing had a gym, two offices - where both the Luna and Alpha could work, and a meditation room that was filled with healing candles, crystals, and much more.
Alina was on the terrace in her room now. She took in the fresh smell of the lilacs and roses, as she tried to gather her racing thoughts. How can someone so gentle even think of threatening to wipe out an entire pack, only to call it off if that pack’s Alpha sends his daughter and only heir to be his bride? It makes no sense. And, now two people who should be sworn enemies are actually mates? Alina tried so hard, but all these thoughts couldn’t get out of her head. A knock at her door did the trick, even if it only was for a moment. “Dinner is ready, Luna” a voice behind the door informed her. Alina opened the door to reply, but she found that the Omega had already turned and walked down the corridor.
As Alina entered the dining room, she noticed that everyone turned to greet her, except the man she met outside when she first arrived. She later learned from Aunt Rina that Jeffrey is a hybrid, and he tends to keep to himself. Dinner was pleasant, but Alina was feeling all of the fatigue of the last couple of days hit her body as she entered her room. She just relaxed into her soft bed, in her new room, blocking out all of the thoughts that kept swarming around in her head about what her new life will be like. At least one question has been answered. The six people that live in the packhouse are Armaan, Zafar, Aunt Rina, the adorable Amir, herself, and Sahil. There was a strange feeling she felt when she remembered Sahil. His silence and behavior made her uneasy. But not as uneasy as Armaan’s behavior. He never took his eyes off of her. Especially whenever she would respond to the light conversation with Zafar and Aunt Rina, and when she took time to feed Amir herself. She couldn’t help but spend time pampering Amir, she felt so connected to him. He became her son the moment she laid eyes on him. But, suddenly the image of Armaan’s eyes staring at her intensely as he took a sip of wine, came back to her. It sent shivers down her spine. Just a look, no, just the memory of how he looked at her affected her this much. How was the rest of the time here going to be?
