Leonard shifted on his feet, fidgeting with the zipper of his jacket. Emilia’s gaze narrowed suspiciously. His eyes flicked away, and he cleared his throat awkwardly. “Maybe.” She blinked, her mouth dropping open as she let out a laugh of disbelief. “Okay, so you rented out the whole s**t just so I wouldn’t embarrass myself in front of strangers?” He gave a noncommittal shrug. “I thought it’d make you more comfortable.” “Comfortable?” Emilia’s tone was sharp but amused. “For a shooting lesson?
