With a frustrated groan, Emilia grabbed her phone and dialled. She couldn’t keep this spinning in her head any longer. Her thoughts were a tangled mess, and she needed to untangle them before she drove herself crazy.
The line rang a few times before a familiar voice chirped on the other end, “Hey babe, what’s up?”
Sophie’s voice rang out, bright and full of energy. “So, what’s new? Any juicy updates. ” She added.
Emilia let out a breathy laugh, Sophie always goes on 'goss' mode when she's really bored which is like every time. “Not much, really. Just…you know, the usual.”
“The usual ?” Sophie snorted. “Em, you live with the man now. There has to be something worth gossiping about. You’ve got to spill.”
