Millers Court and BeyondThe historical facts inform us that at approximately 11.45 a.m. on the morning of November 9th, 1888, rent collector Thomas Bowyer peered through the window of 13 Miller's Court, Dorset Street in Whitechapel and saw the horrendously mutilated remains of Mary Kelly. Such were the wounds inflicted upon the poor woman that hardened, experienced police officers, viewing the scene of c*****e, broke down in tears at the sight. None of the previous murders attributed to the killer known as Jack the Ripper had come close to matching the sheer barbarity and wanton destructiveness that had been perpetrated upon the body of Mary Kelly.
