Norris ReturnsAlbert Norris walked back into New Street Police Station with a spring in his stride. He felt surprisingly refreshed following his three days away from the job. It had been a long time since he and Betty had spent such a long, uninterrupted period of days together and in truth, it had benefited him greatly. In addition to a couple of enjoyable walks in the park, they'd attended a performance at the local music hall, where Norris had found himself entranced and entertained by the singers, the comedians and the acrobats who'd trodden the boards for their entertainment.
