Do not open the door

Two years ago, they were at home, so quiet, Maria, a 40 year old lady who had recently divorced, with her youngest son of only 8 years old.
As usual, Maria had to go to work every night, she was a woman with many responsibilities (both at work and at home) and could not attend to her son at all times. But that day would be very different from the rest; since, when they were having dinner, they saw on the news that a serial killer, very dangerous and aggressive, had escaped from the penitentiary center of the city. The worst part of the news was not that this inmate had escaped, the worst was that he had been seen a few blocks away from the family home.
This caused Maria's uncertainty that when leaving for work she had to leave her son alone at home.
Maria to prevent misfortunes closed the windows, doors, and explained what
next to your child:
- Do not open any windows or doors. Although I carry the keys, in case something happens, I will knock the door 3 times in a row or you will simply recognize me by the voice and then you will know that it is me.
When the time came, Maria went to work and left her son alone. This one, full of fear, closed the door quietly and started watching TV to relax the mind.
After a while, the boy was already asleep when suddenly knocked on the door. POM POM…. the boy woke up and terrified he went very slowly towards the door and said:
- Are you mom?
The answer came with another series of blows accompanied by a chilling whisper that read: OFEN TE DOR The frightened child fled to his room where he spent the night crying and waiting for his mother to arrive, to such an extent that he fell asleep.
The next day when he got up he realized that his mother had not returned. And even with fear he went to the door that led to the exit of the house and found his mother with his legs cut (so he could not get to the doorbell), his tongue cut (so he could not recognize the voice) and totally bloodied.
From that day this boy had to be hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital and could not sleep without suffering constant nightmares ...
