Levi stood outside the VIP room where Gabriella was staying, carrying a replacement infusion bottle. She was supposed to stay in the general ward because she was only staying until her fever had gone down, but Izaak made a fuss and insisted on taking a VIP room for her.
Levi knocked a few times before he opened the door. Izaak knew the nurse as his wife’s friend, but he still scrutinized his whole body for any harmful object, like a security guard.
Izaak had instructed them never to let anyone else in the room except nurses and doctors because he didn’t want anyone disturbing Gabriella.
Levi raised the infusion bottle a little to show Izaak the purpose of his visit. Of course, the infusion bottle was only second to his aim. The primary goal was to see how Gabriella was doing.
