Ivan had forgotten about his mistress, Lucy had forgotten to hide in his arms, and Nora had forgotten to speak. The three of them stood there stunned as they watched me.
I pointed the camera at Lucy and asked, "You are my brother's colleague, huh? Do you really need to hide in his arms for warmth on such a hot day? Come on, face the camera and share your thoughts. My brother had a divorce. Can you swear that you have nothing to do with it?"
Lucy stared at me in disbelief, her carefully done makeup now a mess of red and pale. Her eyeliner and mascara were smudged, and she seemed frozen in shock.
Ivan was the first to react. He stepped in front of Lucy and snapped, "Ruby! Are you crazy? What does this have to do with you?"
He moved aside, giving Nora the chance to jump in and continue
