I kept glancing at Cole as the car sped towards my house. He had been looking down at his tablet, reviewing a file. I am sure he noticed me throwing looks his way, but he didn't acknowledge it all. He pretended like he was oblivious to it. We were now on our way to my house, and there are only a couple of turns more until we reach the destination. Knowing I had to start the conversation, I cleared my throat lightly, "I was wondering if you're going to fetch me for tomorrow" I said, looking at Cole from the corners of my eyes and when he looked up at me, I continued, "If Michael is gone then there is no need for you to fetch me anymore, right?"
