When I woke up the next day, the spot next to me was vacant. I yawned and sat up on the bed before glancing at the clock. My eyes widened in surprise when I realized that it was almost noon.
I couldn't believe that I had slept for such a long time. I am usually a morning person, and this was probably the first time I woke up this late. But, I felt well rested. It was also the first time in many days that I had slept for such a long time.
