"Something is wrong"
I looked up to see Cole's scrutinizing gaze on me, "I can feel it in our bond. Something is bothering you. " He continued when I stared at him questioningly.
I sighed and shook my head, "I am the same," I said, keeping my voice stoic of any emotions.
Cole shook his head, not convinced by my answer, "I am your soulmate, Bryce." He reminded me, "You can not lie to me. Tell me, what is bothering you? Did something happen? Are you upset because we didn't get any evidence -"
"Nothing happened," I said firmly.
He opened his mouth to say something but his phone went off right then, "Oh crap" He cursed under his breath, "Yes, Benjamin" He answered the call right away, "Yeah, I will be there soon. Please apologize to Mr. Hammond on my behalf. I completely forgot about it"
