"I wish if my father was as caring and supportive for his family as others", Richard grumbled as he glared at his father and clenched his jaw. "Then mom would have never-", he stopped by tossing the files over the floor which were kept on the desk.
"RICHARD!", Mr. Brown shouted his lungs out. "Have you forgot the manners to talk with your dad by staying with that spoiled jerk?".
"That spoiled jerk has cared better for your family than what you did over this past years". Richard's veins popped out, he was outraged. "Working for money doesn't bring real happiness dad! Learn it as soon as possible before it is too late!".
With that bad temper, Richard stormed out of his dad's cabin.
"This money is the only thing which raised you and which you spent every other day like water, you i***t!", the old man kept yelling from his cabin but his son didn't care about that.
Richard just walked away from there, leaving his dad all depressed and annoyed. Mr. Brown was too busy in his life raising his business that he almost forgot he has a family to love and care for.
Days when things weren't good for Brown's family and when the father was out of state, he was Jackson who always looked over his best friend's home.
Mrs. Brown has always been sick and unhappy. She always wished to have a happy and perfect family vacation or at least a dinner, but nothing ever went on as she wished for.
She is still waiting for that perfect day. Richard tries to talk with his dad whenever he comes to the company but things never go as he wants, too.
Richard doesn't want to work with his father but with his best friend. Because the work with him gives him more happiness and time to be with his family.
To calm his mood, Richard walked into the cafeteria to cherish his mood with an espresso. The entire way he walked into there, all he heard was the gossips about him. He became everyone's attention today and the trending topic.
"How rude of him that he never respects his father".
"I heard he has taken all the money of his father and invested it into the gaming company of Mr. Robert's son".
"Their father worked all their life to fulfill all their dreams but look at these spoiled kids with no manners at all!".
And the never-ending gossips and rumors continued. But Richard has no interest in it, he is used to all the talks. It has become his habit of ignoring everyone and just living his own life.
Because, Richard thinks, 'If you start up caring about what others will think of you, then you will forget caring about what you actually meant to yourself '. And that's true.
"One espresso please!", Richard said to a waitress passing by him.
"Ye-Yes Sir!", she answered and quickly walked into the kitchen.

"Damn! You have seen his attitude?"
"He thinks he can do anything just because it's his dad's company"
"Lol! If Mr. Brown wasn't his dad then he had been working like us in a cafe", the girls working in the kitchen chattered and giggled.
Meanwhile, Sana was too busy thinking about what mess her parents create with her life. Which made her ignore what was going on beside her in the kitchen. She was cleaning the floor with the mop.
"Hey, Sana! It will begin reflecting your face like a mirror if you keep wiping it for a few more times", one of the colleagues of Sana taunted her and burst out laughing over her.
Sana realized that she has been cleaning the same area of the floor for a long moment. "So- sorry. I- I was thinking about something else", Sana apologized to the girls who were senior to her.
"Thinking about something else while working? Girl, do you wish to get kicked off from this company on the very first day itself?", her colleague hissed at her.
"No- No!", Sana exclaimed. "Please don't tell anyone about this", she pleaded.
"Tsk tsk, this won't work", another girl spoke up. "Keep the mop aside, wash your hands clean, and go give that espresso to the man sitting over there", she added pointing over Richard sitting on the table who was busy with his cell phone.
"Be careful, he is the son of our chairman", she warned her and gestured to walk out of the kitchen.
"Wi- will you forgive me then?", Sana questioned before taking the espresso out of the kitchen.
"If it goes well then we will think over it!", the girls said in unison and ended up snickering.
Sana has no other choice than to listen to the girls and following what they say in order to save her job. She reluctantly walked towards Richard's table.
Every pair of eyes were over Sana as she walked closer to his table. And this thing made Sana more nervous that her hands become trembling too.
"Yo-your espresso s-sir", Sana spoke up.
"Hmm", Richard hummed, gesturing her to keep it on the table. He was busy scrolling in his mobile phone as his eyes were stuck to his mobile screen.
Sana nodded and was about to keep it on the table but her trembling hands ruined everything. The hot espresso fell over Richard's new branded suit making everyone's eyes widened and jaw drop.
"WHAT THE!", Richard shouted his lungs out. "HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND, YOU i***t?". Richard stood in his place and took the tissues as he began wiping off him quickly.
"So- sorry, please forgive me. I didn't do it intentionally-", Sana apologized rapidly for her very first mistake on her very first day.
Before Sana could complete her sentence, Richard walked away from her and went to the washroom.
"What are you watching? Go give him clothes", the other staff working in the cafeteria quickly walked out from there to bring Richard some clean clothes to change.
Meanwhile, Sana stood frozen in her place. She messed up everything. She screwed up every opportunity she got and ruined it on her own. That's what she thought.
She began thinking about what would happen next. If her family learns about it, she thought she would be kicked off from their too. And as she has no other place to go, she was afraid about where will she go.
As the thoughts crossed her mind, tears began to scroll down from her eyes. She was shocked about the incident and was afraid of what the son of the chairman will say to her once he walks out of the washroom.
"Damn you, silly girl! Where was your attention?', the girl whom Sana talked to earlier in the kitchen ran to Sana and began questioning.
"Don't tell her anything, you terrified her telling her that she can be kicked off from her job on the very first day. That's why she trembled!", the other girl grumbled as she rubbed Sana's back. "Girl calm down, apologies works always", she added.
"Yeah, don't worry too much. Anyways he is a headache to his dad. You know karma works anyway", the first girl chuckled bitterly.
And within the next few moments, Richard walked out of the washroom, he was changed in his new suit. He was furious. As he was walking closer to the girls, he only glared at Sana.
Giving Sana a death stare made the heartbeats of Sana beat faster. Her brain stopped working in anxiety. She was too scared as if she has seen a ghost.
"Go get to your work everyone!", Richard shouted making everyone flinch and run back to their work.
Sana was about to walk back into the kitchen too but Richard grabbed her arms with a tight grip and didn't let her go. "Not you!', he said with a bitter smirk on his lips.
Both the girls working with Sana in the kitchen stopped and peeked back at them in surprise but the death glare of Richard made them run back into the kitchen as quickly as possible.
Turning around Sana to look at him, Richard took a seat and continued to stare Sana up and down.
"Who are you?', he chuckled bitterly. "I have never seen any employee working in this cafeteria without any uniform. I guess you are new!", Richard tucked his one eyebrow in confusion. He doubted her which was indeed correct.
She wasn't wearing any uniform and was alone there who wore fancy clothes. "What is your name?", Richard inquired as he clenched his jaw.
Sana's hands were still trembling in fear. She doesn't know how to speak or react before him. She knows she has made a mistake and she truly wants to apologize for it.
"I-", before Sana could utter a word, Mina walked into the cafeteria catching both of their attention.
"What the hell is going on here?", she came in shouting out loud. "What did you do Sana?", her anger reflected through her voice making Sana's breathe hitch.
"Sana?", Richard thought in his mind. "Where did I hear this name?", he struggled to remember that she is the same girl who came into the cabin earlier.
"I said you not to mess up anything. On your very first day, you started up making mistakes? Should we fire you?", Mina lashed out over the poor new intern, Sana.
"By any chance, isn't she that girl who came earlier in the cabin? Wasn't she going to be dad's new secretary? Why is she working in this cafeteria?", Richard suspected correctly. But at the same time, he was bewildered by her position in the company.
