Seth stared around the airship—the Torva Venti—in amazement, his green eyes wide. He spun, boot heel moving effortlessly against the fine Abyssinian carpet that padded the gondola, trying to take in everything at once. “Astounding.” Dex was grinning openly at Seth’s obvious delight. A week’s depression was enough and too much; Seth was relieved to feel his spirits rise. He’d not wanted to come to the evening’s dinner party at all, but Dex had insisted. “Come along; I should like to introduce you to my friend,” Dex said.
