I was told I was gonna be leader for this group. Maxwell said that it would be a great opportunity. Good to know that was bullshit. I trained for my whole life for this, trained under Maxwell to become the best warrior.
Well one of the best. I understand that she is one of the strongest fighters, tied with Conner. Those two are unbeatable. You can't reach the rank of knight unless you lead a team on a successful mission, or if you can stand your ground against on of the king's guards.
Which are the ones that guard and protect the high council members. I have trained for 50 years to be a knight, ever since I awakened. Now I am driving in an empty car with two women fighting each other in front of me.
* 1 hour later *
This is great. They blew a tire and are now fighting each other in the streets. I take a deep breath and exhale.
Screw it.
I start up the car and drive up beside Flynn, and roll down the passenger window..
" Get in. "
He nods and hops in. The girls look at each other and head for the car.
I wave. " See you there. "
I start driving away and they are left there shocked.
" Dude. You're just gonna leave them. "
I nod. " Yep. They can find their own way to the pack now. "
Lilith
I get woken up by Sylvie shaking me and loud yelling. I groan and sit up and look at the clock.
" It's f*****g 9:22. Why the hell are you waking me. " I say angry.
She flinches. " Sorry. " She stammers. " The alpha is angry. "
I growl. " This is great. "
She takes a few steps back and I leave the room. I head towards the yelling and see an angry alpha.
Great.
The rest of the team is there just staring. His pack members are trying to calm him down. I can feel my wolf wanting to come out. I've only been here for a few hours and my wolf already wants to fight. I chuckle to myself.
" I will not take orders from a pathetic little witch. I want to talk to your leader now! "
Sylvie whimpers. The alpha looks at me.
" About time. This is what the orders chooses as their warriors. " He scoff.
" Whats your issue, did your luna not make your food the right way. Oh wait. " I chuckle. " She rejected you because you couldn't preform. "
He growls at me. " What did you say. "
His eyes turn gold.
" Awe, is the puppy angry. "
He bares his teeth and lunges at me. I easily dodge and kick him in the ribs. He goes flying through the wall, and all the wolves in the room looked scared and shocked.
" You better watch yourself 'alpha'. If the order finds out you attacked one of their precious warriors. " I make a sad face. " The consequences would be dire. "
Some of my alpha aura gets out and he flinches.
" You're an alpha. "
" Yes. "
" Kill. " Theolia's voice booms through my head.
I groan and step back. I can feel my bones crack and hear it to. I grip onto the frame of my homemade door. I close my eyes and focus on not shifting. It works and my bones go back.
" Whew. That was close. My wolf almost came out. "
I look at everyone and their faces hold shock and horror.
" We know about you. " The alpha growls. " A wolf that despises its own kind. "
" Yes. She is very hard to control, so watch yourself, and maybe, just maybe. I wont kill every wolf in your pack. " I stretch a bit. " Now I am going back to bed, and if anyone interrupts me. " I give an evil smile. " I will rip your throat out. " I bow. " Good night. "
I head back to the room and walk in. I lock the door and leap into bed. I sigh. Finally, sleep.
* Hours later. *
I wake up and roll over onto my back. I stretch out and and then sit up.
" Kill them. " Thoelia growls.
I sigh. " Calm down please. "
" No! " She snaps.
" This is the first time I've talked to you in awhile. "
" I don't care! Destroy them! "
" Not all wolves are bad. "
" I know. I just can't stand these ones. "
" Same here. "
" 5 miles east. "
" What. "
Silence.
I groan. I get out of bed and leave the room. I walk towards the team and they are all sitting at the kitchen table. They all stiffen when they see me.
" Morning. " Sylvie stutters.
I nod. " Wheres my stuff. "
" Oh. " Josh stands up. " You were asleep so I put them in my room. "
He walks by me and I follow him.
" I didn't want to put it with the girls because they are being salty this evening. "
We walk to his room and it looks the same as ours. He grabs my bags and hands them to me. I grab them and nod. I head for my room and close and lock the door when I get inside. I jump in the shower.
The hot water feels great. I get out of the shower. I quickly get dresses and put on my shoes. I head back downstairs and they are still at the table. I stand in front of them.
" The relic is 5 miles east. "
They all look at me.
" How do you know. " Josh asks confused.
" My wolf told me. "
" I thought you and your wolf didn't get along. " Sylvie says quietly.
" Yea. "
They all look at each other.
" I'm leaving right now. "
They all get up fast and to their rooms to change.
