Plump

After school I was head home I usually drive with Mel, but today she had to stay over for her debate team, and I was in no mood to wait for her today. I decided to catch the bus which dropped me off a block from where I lived. It was good to ride the bus because I could sit and think about everything mainly this college thing. A talk with my mom would help me decided what to do I guess. Walking through the apartment complex I knew I was going to regret not waiting. Men loved yelling my name whistling and saying nasty s**t to me when I would walk by this certain tree that was in the middle of the projects. Today there was no one there odd, but I was happy.

As I passed the tree I heard someone scream and then shots went off. Where the screams were coming from was my mom's friend Nicole's apartment. I crutched my books in my hand and began to run, but when I ran this group came running out wearing all black, and I bumped into one of them. I fell "s**t my bad....Plump" he said helping me up I looked in the eyes cause the eyes was all I could see. We stood there for a moment, and he finally said "you didnt see s**t alright I dont wanna have to hurt your pretty ass face" he said cupping my jaw with his hands.

"I....I...I didnt see nothing" he nodded "good" then someone yelled "yo man lets go 12 is coming" next thing I know he runs off and I run in the opposite direction.

When I entered the house thank God my mom wasnt home she must was working a double tonight and her little brother's were with their dad for the week. I sat my things down on the couch and went into the kitchen we had nothing to eat I wasnt suprised blew off guess I'll get something when I go to work in three hours. Only thing to do now was to go to my room and take a quick nap before work. Then it hit me as I collasped onto my bed "he knew my name".

"f**k you talking to her for" Dallas said once I got in the car. "Man shut the f**k up if it wasnt for your trigger happy ass I wouldnt have to bump into her it was suppose to be clean he was going to give me the f*****g money dumbass". Dallas waved him off removing his mask "man the nigga and his b***h deserved it" he replied. Corey then asked "wasn't that, that Roxanne chick" Justin nodded and said "yea that was her" Dallas added "it was nice watching her run away she got a fat ass" I glared at him through the rareview. He threw up his hands "spoken for huh? My bad" Justin didnt say anything "man I hope she dont rat" Justin added "she won't".

3days later

"Hi welcome to KFC can I take your order"? Justin replied back to the female voice "yea let me get a two peice leg and thigh with a side of mash potatos and let me get a tea with that". She repeated everything back to me to make sure she had it right "yea you got it" "alright five twenty next window". I got my card out my wallet as I pulled up to the window. It was a little wait but then the window finally opens. "Five..." I looked up because I wanted to know why she paused, and there she was Plump.

"Five twenty five right"? She nodded I handed her the exact change I was particalar like that if I had it on me. "What's your name" I asked already knowing she point to her name tag "Roxanne" I looked behind me there was no one "well Roxanne let me get your number please"? She giggled "sorry I cant I'm on the clock and plus I barely know you" I placed the car in park "well what you wanna know other than my name which is Justin" "your going to hold up the line" I looked behind me still no one "I'm good so wassup what you wanna know"? She closed the window on me I sat in shock for a minute just went I was taking my car out of park because someone had come up behind the window opened again. "Here's my number now can you please go to the next window to get your food" she said with a smirk I smiled back "stay up for me tonight cause I'm going to call" she simply said "yea okay" like she didnt believe me. I see I'm going to have to show her I wasnt lying.
