Steele ran quickly along the side of the warehouse, making sure to stay in the deeper shadows. Ducking down, he risked a look around the side. A narrow alley ran between the two warehouses. It was empty. Halfway along the wall, though, was what he was looking for. A side door. The place was crawling with guards so there was no way he could waltz in through the front. Running on silent feet, he reached the door and turned the handle. It wouldn’t budge. “Shit.” He tried again, rattling the door as quietly as he could, just in case it was stuck. Nope, definitely locked. “f**k it.” With a small snarl, he punched his claws through the rusted metal, shredding the section around the lock and pulling the whole thing free of the damn door.
