From being a bet to being in love

Chapter 1

[Kelsey's pov ]

I arrive at school and everyone stops talking and looks at me. I hold my head up high and just keep on walking. I've learned to kinda just shrug it off but that doesn't mean I can't hear them.

" Oh my word. Look at her clothes."

" Here comes the charity case."

" Doesn't she have other clothes to wear? Ugh" They all whisperd.

I keep on walking when I suddenly trip.All my stuff fell out. "Oops. I'm so sorry I didn't see you there.Are you okay?" Britney asked with a small smile on her face. She is the school's most popular girl. She loves to pick on weaker kids.

"I'm fine thanks." I said I picked my stuff up , got up and kept walking. I can hear them all laughing. Their all the same and they worship the ground Britney walks on.I go to my locker when I see Eva. She smiles at me. She is the one thing that keeps me sane at school." Hey girl!How's it going."She loudly said. I laugh and say,

"I'm fine now that your here. I got the glam squad on my way in. You know how they are. Britney even tripped me , but hey I'm fine now."She looked at me with sad eyes. "Well the beginning of your first day in grade eleven sucked, but don't worry cause Eva's here!"She screamed.Everyone looked at us.

" What y'all looking at ha?" she asked.

They all looked away.Eva is a loud girl that everyone fears in a way.In my defense Britney's even scared of her too.

(Ring ) The bell rings. We had English together do we went to class.
