Fourteen I WOKE WITH A START in our hotel room at the Four Seasons. Squeezing my eyes shut, I tried to put thoughts of that house out of my mind, but I couldn’t. I sat up in bed and drank some water, laying back down to find sleep. Dante beside me breathed evenly undisturbed, but I was wide awake and knew I wouldn’t sleep again.
