Chapter 6- Disbelief

Nicole POV

I am now sat and Mr J Gennaro, the head master held my hand with his and he went on to introduce himself. "hi Elly, I am Jack, your secret partner in the under world. I know this comes as a shock but I figured this when we were coming towards my office earlier. I am a witch, cursed with snake in my brains this is why you saw this" he said lifting up his sleeves and snake skin came to view and for some reason I am now calm though still horrified.

everything he said sounded familiar but because I always felt like something weird is happening with me at nights and in the mornings I could not clearly remember the whole thing, I ignored and wanted to hear more. I looked at the purple juice as he approached, it had small pearls underneath and he shook it a little to mix it. he took my right hand and put it in on it. "in order for you and I to know for sure that you are indeed my mate you have to take a spoon of this potion" he said

"and what if I'm not your mate?" I asked desperately. "then you gonna have to swallow this button and dive into my snake cabin so that he could suck it out without hurting you" he held my hand and led me to the brightest room of his office. the walls were shiny marbles the windows were made with replica diamonds, so I thought but yet looked so so so real. it had a circle bed with a leaf-like headboard. everything was just so bright and there was a glass cabin with a tan snake in it. it was huge! I hid behind him as soon as I saw it "relax, I once thought I found my mate because some girl had me under her spell until I gave her the button after she took the syrup and he suctioned it successfully with no harm done to her. even though she betrayed me" he explained that he takes a tea dosed with it every morning to help connect with me every now and then he explained that his spirit used to travel to a country of his origin to connect with his mate and that's when I thought he might be lying because I'm not from Australia. but because I want this to be over and done with I agreed to his convincing and he gave me a lid full of this and I closed my eyes and sipped on it.

I was in disbelief, as I open my eyes they started burning like h**l, my tongue wanted out of my mouth, as soon as I took it out, it was hissing like a snake my jaws are literally on fire. I got scared and tried to run away but the door was locked as I turn towards Jack to beg him to open the door for me. there was a snake with it's head up and I stiffened my body as it approached me but Mr Gennaro said to me I must loosen up immediately and I obeyed. it brought its head besides my neck and I could feel it taking breaths repeated on the other side of my neck and concluded with a bow. I stood there surprised of what just happened before it disappeared and Mr Gennaro said it approved that I'm the one and gave us space to discuss things.

I slid down the door and palmed my face to wiah I could wake up and brushed off this nightmare but no, he came towards me, kneeled down and tugged me in hug to apologize.

"I'm so sorry that I had to put you through such so early in your new country." his hug tightened and I feld at ease and the dark chocolate smell not leaving my side when he's near and that infused lavender has now come back as well. I buried my head to his neck and he kissed me hair thousands of times in acceptance. I chuckled under my whips and he pulled out the same time as me and bumped his forehead with mine and I smirked simultaneously with his grin.

JACK'S POV

I took her cheeks into my palms and our foreheads are attached together, so was our noses. we breathed into each other and I trailed her hands through my arm to my forearm and the animal skin has disappeared. she smells so fresh, like vanilla, her skin is so soft and pale. her legs are to die for. she is just perfect than I imagined her to be. and I hope I can make her not to regret a single thing for coming to Cambridge University. I wanted to assure her that everything is back to normal, I wanted to keep her, and I wanted to kiss her so bad until I'm buried deep inside her as I f**k the daylight living out of her. but at the same time I didn't want to scare her off because she is still new to this world.
