Seth could only watch as Siya lay curled in a blanket in their bed. It hurt him to see Siya like this. But what could he do? He was powerless. "Siya..." Seth said but he went unanswered. "Siya please talk to me" he pleaded. But silence remained. Every little thing reminded Siya of Thalor and Valkyra. The memories of the last few months with thwm flashed through her mind. How could she allow them to be taken from her like that? She could have no should have done more to keep them safe to protect them. But she let her guard down. She failed them. And now there was no telling what those people would do to them. Suddenly Seth heard a knock at the door, and went to answer it. When he opened the door an old man stood in front of him. One who appeared to be in his late 60s and wore camo styled clothing with a gun hanging over his shoulder. "Can I help you?" Seth asked with a confused look. The old man turned and spit before turning back to Seth. "You the guy that I saw them dragon looking things be taken from the other day?" Asked the old man. Seth froze for a minute. "Uhhh y-yes" Seth answered. "Ya want'em back?" He asked. "How could you help us get them back?" Asked Seth. "We dont even know where they are" he added. "I do" said the old man. "Saw them government folks sneaking round the woods a few months back and been keeping my eye on'em since, even followed em back to their facility where they keep all em aliens they wanna say dont exist" said the old man. Seth looked back towards the bedroom before turning back to the old man. "Come on in" said seth inviting the old man in, and closing the door behind him. "Would you like something to drink mr..." "Simon" said the old man. "Ill take a beer if ya got one" he added. "So what do you know exactly?" Asked Seth as he grabbed a can of beer from the fridge and handed it to Simon. "Not to much" said Simon. "Just that this ain't the first time an egg has appeared, and its not the first time the government took what was hidden inside it" he told Seth. "It is however the first time, it took them so long to find the beasts" he added. "Is it possible for me to get them back?" Siya asked suddenly appearing in the doorway. "Its not impossible" said Simon. "But we best do it before their destroyed" he said. "What do you mean by destroyed?" Asked Seth. "There's a reason no one has any proof of aliens or cryptids or supernatural beings" said Simon. "They get locked away, experimented on, and when they are eventually no longer useful, their destroyed" he answered. "So than only one choice remains" Siya said walking into the room. "Either we let this go and let them do whatever sinister plans they have to Thalor and Valkyra or we fight" she said simply. "We fight" Seth said simply. Siya looked up at seth. "Are you sure?" Siya asked. "Are you sure this is what you want?" She questioned wlaking over to him and looking into his eyes. "No" he told her. "But if this is what it takes to keep you from being broken, I will do it" he said holding her shoulders. "How do we get them out?" Seth asked turning to Simon. "You need a Trojan horse" he said simply. "Something or someone who they could make use of and potentially get near the dragons" he added. "And than what?" Siya asked. "Even if we get them out, they know where we are" she said. "And something tells me there is nowhere on this planet we can hide" "Who said anything about hiding?" Asked Simon. "Your going to reveal the beasts to the world" he told her. "There will be those who want to take them from you, and there will be those who will stand behind you to protect them" he told her. "The fight doesn't end when you save them" he said. "It ends when there is no one left willing to fight you" "You want me to essentially go to political war?" She asked. "No" he told her "I want you to start a war" "The question is how far are you willing to go to protect your dragons?" He asked. "How far are you willing to go to change the world for them?" "Hes right!" Seth told her. "If you want to get them back we have to fight all the way to the end" Siya let out a Sigh. "What do we need to do?" She asked simply. Meanwhile about 15 miles away. A dragons cry echoed through a government facility. "What have you discovered?" Agent shallows asked with his arms crossed as he stared through one way glass at the sedated blue dragon that let out painful screams, as a man took her blood. "Not much" said the scientist next to Timothy. "Though their scales are strong they aren't indestructible, we've also compared her DNA with that of the egg and confirmed that though she isn't from this planet, she is from our solar system" the scientist said. "What about the other eggs?" Timothy asked. "Have you figured out why theirs hatched and the others havent?" He questioned. "Im afraid not" the scientist answered. "But i have someone going back to the crash site to see if there is anything different that is there that would have resulted in the egg hatching. Timothy thought for a minute... what was different about their egg compared to the others that had crash on earth? It couldn't be the environment... there was nothing special about it. The only thing different, the only thing that wasnt the same as the other eggs was... "The girl" he said aloud. "Im sorry sir?" The scientist questioned. "The only thing that was different with their egg and the other eggs was that a girl Was their when they hatched" he said. "Than we need that girl" said the scientist. "She may know the answer as to how we can hatch the rest of the eggs" TO BE CONTINUED
