Chapter 3

"SIYA!" Seth yelled as he ran inside the house. "In here" she said from the kitchen with a shakey voice.

Seth dropped everything and ran to her before looking her over. "Are you ok are you hurt?" He asked as she grabbed his hand. "Im fine" she said looking Seth in his eyes. "Thalor protected me" she told him.

Seth let out a deep breath almost as if he had been holding it for ages. "You didn't have to come home you know" she said softly. "Yes i did" he said caressing her cheek.

Seth looked at the dragons laying on the couch in the living room. They seemed to also be watching Siya. "Seems like you guys have really bonded" Seth said looking back at her. "I think its more than that" she told him.

"Seth they were in here, I dont think thalor just happened to come out. I think he knew I was in danger and chose to save me" she told him.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Siya and Seth both looked at the door before looking back at each other. "Hide them" he said simply before walking towards the door and slowly opened it.

"Are You Seth Blakely?" Asked a man in a suit as he took off his sun glasses. "Yes and you are?" Seth asked simply. "Im Agent Timothy Shallow, with the department of homeland security im just out here today because we had reports of a meteor crashing about a mile or so from here, and we just wanted to make sure no pieces from the meteor crashed into your property" the man said simply put.

"I work nights but I haven't seen any strange rocks around if thats what you mean" Seth told him. "What about your girlfriend Siyera Michael's is she around?" Agent Shallow asked. "Seth whats going on?" Siya asked appearing at the door. "Who are you?" Siya asked confused. "Agent Timothy Shallow, with the department of homeland security" he said again. "About 2 weeks ago a meteor landed about a mile from here i was just checking to make sure no debree landed anywhere on your property" he told her. "Wow a meteor i wish id see that, unfortunately my life is pretty boring so im not lucky enough to see anything that cool" she told him.

Suddenly a loud crash came from the back room. "Oh those damned dogs" siya said looking back. "If youll excuse is it sounds like we have a mess to clean up. Thank you for stopping by Agent Shirley and have a lovely day" she said before moving Seth out of the way and closing the door.

"His name was shallows?" Seth said confused. "I know" siya replied before walking towards the room she hid Thalor and Valkyra in.

"Do you think he knows?" Seth asked as he followed her to the back room. "I think he definitely suspects were hiding something" Siya said as she opened the door and Thalor and valkyra jumped out of the room onto her.

"I see you've made a mess my sweet babies" she said patting them on the head. "You shouldn't condone their misbehavior" set said grabbing a broom. "How can I not when their this cute" she said wrapping an arm around each of them and hugging them.

But Siyas expression quickly changed. "I cant lose them" she said her voice cracking. "I wont lose them" she added. "But hes gonna come back i know that and he wont stop until he finds the truth" she said.

"So what do we do?" She asked looking up at Seth. "Im not sure" Seth told her simply.

Time passed quickly weeks became months, and the fear that the agent may return began to fade. The dragons continued to grow larger and larger and had soon become the size of a large shed. Seth and Siya began to fear the barn built for them would be out grown in no time.

"Seth watch this!" Siya said throwing a piece of raw meat into the air. "Burn it" she commanded and Thalor burnt it to an ashy crisp.

"What does teaching them to burn things accomplish?" Asked Seth. "Nothing but its definitely cool to watch" she replied with a smirk. Thalor lowerd his head. And siya gently pet it. "My big beautiful boy" she said quietly. Valkyra suddenly walked up behind her and nudged her with her snout. "And my sweet girl" she said placing her other hand on Valkyra.

The love Siya felt for these dragons which she had only raised for a few months, was something she couldn't describe. They were her family, her babies, and forever part of her life.

But than something made thalor and valkyra hyper aware. Something grabbed their attention making them look deep into the woods and get in front of Siya, instinctively almost as if to protect her.

"What's wrong?" She asked suddenly worried as she gently pet the sides of their necks.

What could make them suddenly so protective of her? What was in the woods that was so dangerous? That even 2 semi large dragons saw it as a potential threat. "Seth!" Siya called out to him. "Seth i think something is wrong" she yelled.

"Siya" seths said from behind her making her turn to him.

Siya froze at the sight in front of her. Seth being held at gun point by a government agent, different from the one they had met before.

She didn't know what to do or say. There was no hiding thalor and valkyra now. "What do you want?" Siya asked, he voice shakey and dry, almost as if she need water, but she didn't.

"I think you already know the answer to that one" a familiar voice making her turn back towards the woods echoed. Agent Timothy Shallows.

Thalor and Valkyra took a step forward almost as if to threaten him. "Call off the beasts or your boyfriend comes with us" Agent Shallows said coldly. Siya hesitated for a moment "Enough" she said and thalor and Valkyra backed themselves behind her. "Now as i was saying" said Agent Shallows, "Were here for the dragons."
