As we left the detention room, I had so many things on my mind. It was already dark outside, so we went straight home. Immediately after we entered, I went straight to the fridge to drink water. It felt like my brain needed something freezing to get a brain freeze and calm down.
Elijah came up behind me and held me from the back; it felt really warm and relaxing. “It's been a while since we did something nice together. I was thinking we could shower and then come back down to the sitting room and watch a movie while cuddling and eating junk.
