ELIJAH'S POV
Standing there and engaging Damian in a look down, I could tell what was going through his mind. We both didn't want to be the one to drive off first, but I quickly changed my mind.
I knew Alpha Damian couldn't do anything; he feared me too much to try anything of that sort, and I knew what my warriors were capable of.
I immediately climbed into the car; my warriors did the same, and we all drove off. Just before we drove off, I caught a glimpse of his face, and he looked furious. I could not help but laugh.
“How was the meeting?” Mark asked immediately as he drove off.
“It went well; Alpha Damian actually surprised me; he apologized nicely without long talk, and we made peace. The meeting only ran long because the elders engaged us in other discussions.”
