As Damian turned to walk away, Josh finally talked.
“Do you do this because you know I will always be here?” Josh said, and Damian halted and turned around.
“That is the only reasonable deduction. Do you take me for granted because you know that I do not want to turn my back on you because of the vow we made years ago? I might just decide to abandon that friendship vow one day because, obviously, you do not care about it.
