For the first time since the day I met Elsa again, I finally told myself the truth today. Before she came to the clearing where I and the Elder, along with Elijah and some other pack members, were standing, my eyes kept searching for her. For some reason, I wanted to truly confirm that she was the one I had seen change into that magnificent wolf that day, and when she finally came running through the fields to her mate, I realized how stupid I had been to let her go.
