The hand around my waist tightened. Kael gave a low grunt and said, "Sit tight." The white horse suddenly accelerated, Kael leaning forward, pressing his body even closer to mine. I was left speechless. The horse came to a halt by the lake outside the village. Kael helped me down, and the horse wandered toward the water to drink. With the blue sky, white clouds, and distant peaks reflected on its surface, the sight of the horse drinking was as if it were kissing the sky. It was so breathtaking I wanted to take a picture, but I realized that in my haste, I had left everything behind, save for the little bell Kael had warned me never to lose. Thinking of everything that had happened, a wave of weariness washed over me. I decided to push it all to the back of my mind and worry about it tomo
